Hailie Deegan caught a little bit of that Las Vegas luck in her Junior 2 Kart this weekend in the Lucas Oil Offroad Racing Series that took place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Hailie grabbed the early lead, followed closely by Dylan Winbury, Darren Hardesty, Parker Steele, and Jeremy Davis.
With the top three then beginning to pull away from those behind as the race approached the Competition Yellow. As the field bunched up behind the Pace UTV, it was Winbury, Deegan, Steele, Hardesty, and Porter in the top five, with Travis PeCoy on the restart lap. At the white flag, it was now Winbury, Deegan, Steele, Hardesty and Dickerson in the top five, and the top three once again had a gap over those behind.
Hailie Deegan took the lead, and after hounding Winbury throughout the race, her consistency paid off as she picked up her first-ever win in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series- congratulations Hailie!
